principle that the led transmitter projects light toward the receiver.
The amount of light received is calculated to a resulting signal strength.

The Support structure is a custom specific product that can be designed
according to customers needs. The structure is used as a single lift
self-contained aids to navigation package powered by a battery and a
solar panel. The configuration of the Support structure depends on the
installed equipment. The most common structure is equipped with following ATEX
approved components:
• Lantern, solar panel, battery/battery box and a junction box for cable connections, also fog horns can be installed on support structures

• lanterns include an 8 A battery charger/solar regulator so normally an external charger is
not needed

• The construction is a heavy duty steel construction with a hot dipped galvanized surface treatment

Application areas for this type of installation are smaller oil and gas platforms in remote areas, other small fixed offshore structures and SBM buoys.
